Hi! I'm Michael Vasilevich (vuh-sil-eh-vich), an athletic
triple-threat performer born, raised and based in Chicago. Growing up in the city, I was immediately drawn to performing from a young age and my love
for theatre has only grown stronger over time. I’m a recent graduate of Western Michigan University
where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in
Musical Theatre Performance with a Minor in Dance.
Some favorite roles of mine include Munkustrap (Cats),
Race (Newsies), Snowboy (West Side Story), Max
(Lend Me a Tenor), and Dream Curly (Oklahoma!).

Outside of the theatre, I’m also a 2-time competitor on NBC's American Ninja Warrior, a childhood dream of mine I've been training over a decade for. You can catch me tackling the world's toughest obstacle course on Seasons 17 and 18 streaming now on Peacock! When I’m not dancing around the stage or swinging on crazy obstacles, you might find me riding roller coasters, rock climbing, or watching Survivor with my twin sister (I've seen all 50 seasons!).
With athletic physicality, strong dance skills, and excellent comedic timing, I bring versatility, focus, and heart to every performance. I could not be more excited to continue sharing my passion for the stage with audiences everywhere!

What started as a childhood obsession with American Ninja Warrior became a journey that would shape me both as an athlete and as an artist. After dreaming about competing on the show for years, I was selected for the inaugural season of American Ninja Warrior Junior, premiering in the very first episode. I’ve now been training for over a decade, and finally had the opportunity to step onto the main stage of American Ninja Warrior on NBC, competing on both Season 17 & Season 18! You can catch me on the course streaming now on Peacock!
My years of ninja training have become an integral part of who I am as a performer. The strength, agility, acrobatics, aerial skills, and physical awareness I’ve developed through the sport directly complement my dance and musical theatre training, allowing me to approach performance with a uniquely athletic perspective. I love finding ways to blend storytelling with movement and bring a level of physicality, versatility, and fearlessness to the stage that sets me apart as a performer.
